Linda Carlton, CEO and founder, is an MBA, CPA and former career counselor whose experience in the staffing industry (RHI Management Resources and Accounting Solutions) let her to start FinanceStaff.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In addition to offering traditional contingent search and temporary staffing services, FinanceStaff offers Focused Recruting, a recruitment process outsourcing service tailored for specific positions. This low-cost recruiting process is ideal for companies that want to save money by posting their own positions and utilizing their internal referral networks, but lack the internal resources to efficiently screen candidate resumes and identify top talent for complex technical positions.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
FinanceStaff is located in downtown Oakland; although we recruit nationally through our recruiting partner network, we have no plans to expand locations in the near future.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
FinanceStaff is a 100% woman-owned (WBE certified) business. Linda Carlton is the owner and founder.
What are your hours of operation?
Hours of office operation are 9 am - 5 pm and on an as-needed basis.
