We have been serving the Alameda-Berkeley-Oakland-San Leandro area since 1983
What is your primary product or service?
Montessori early childhood educational services
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been in the field of early childhood education since 1971. I am a credentialed public school teacher and have taught in the public school sector for over 10 years. I then open this school in 1983 after obtaining my masters in early childhood edcuation with a Montessori emphasis.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My staff and I focus on the fundamentals using the Montessori curriculum as the instructional vehicle for students ages 2-K. First and foremost, we establish a warm and trusting relationship between the student and the staff on a individual basis. We believe that our standards of performance should be established using a simple, yet tried and true philosophy. We would the school is perform as if our own child was attending. This is what makes us different.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have our main location in Oakland and believe that smaller is better when teaching young children. Our facility is only 45 students have remained at this capacity since our inception. All of our students deserve to respected as a unique individual.

We are nestled in the Oakland Hills adjacent to major freeways (I-580, Highway 13) yet thoughtfully tucked away in a wooded location. Located off the Redwood Road of Highway 13, we believe in providing a clean and safe environment for our students. We may be a little more difficult to find, but the search is well worth the effort.
