What is your primary product or service?
Child Care Services, Infant, Toddler and Preschool Program, Spanish Immersion, Bilingual Education.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The program was founded by a woman from Nicaragua and her family and from their start they believed in a in a bilingual education for young children and creating a program for families and their children in diverse cultural groups where they had the opportunity to become fluent in Spanish in order to prepare them for a much more advanced education.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are in 5 separate residential facilities all interconnected by the back yards. The groups of children are very small of 4, 6 and 8 children. There are plenty of extra staff to help with diapering, cleaning, to help feed the infants and toddlers. The extra staff help with activities and when they are outdoors. There a5 providers that over see each of the program.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 5 separate facilities and we are looking into expanding to one more in the near future.

Monte Tavor is located in the lower hills or upper diamond district close to the Lincoln Heights.
Which areas do you service?
Laurel, Montclair, Piedmont, Park Blvd, and Lake Merritt. Families also live in Walnut Creek, Orinda, Lafayette, Castro Valley, San Leandro and Berkeley.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
There are five individuals and each own a facility.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Families love the attention the children get and how happy they are at the end of each day. Families rave about our foods served, the family and children events (especially the dancing shows and animal science fair).
